About me
Welcome to my world, where menopausal transformation is the path to finding life’s truth, growth and conscious creation of the life of your dreams – your own paradise on earth.
My name is Ewa Dubiel. I am a certified menopausal doula, and my approach is based on understanding, empathy and knowledge gained both through professional training and from my own experience. In January 2024, I completed a menopausal doula course at the renowned The Menopause School in the UK, certified by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM).
In my work, I combine my passion for a holistic approach with practical life experience. For many years, I was part of a large company’s workforce, where I faced the pressures, stresses and challenges of a busy career. As a result, I have a great understanding of what women face – both on a professional and personal level. I am aware of how difficult it is to find balance, especially during the menopausal transition, which requires us to take greater care of ourselves, but also offers great potential for inner growth.
Privately, I am a nature lover, gardener and passionate about nature. I draw inspiration from living close to nature, which reminds me of the cycles and transformations that are an inherent part of our existence. I am a wife and a mother of three wonderful daughters – they teach me how beautiful and diverse a woman’s life can be at different stages.
I want to support women in going through the menopausal transition – not as a moment of loss, but as an opportunity for a new beginning. I believe that this time can be a moment of awakening, returning to oneself and building a life based on harmony, fulfillment and joy.
How did I become a menopause doula?
Here’s my story. The fear of approaching menopause, and the difficulties which are written in my family’s genes, led me to understand this stage of life in more depth way. It has always amazed me to observe that some women go through menopause smoothly, while for others it becomes a real challenge. As the time of my menopause was nearing, I began to explore the literature on the subject, looking for answers and how to get through this period as easily as possible. This is how I came across the profession of menopausal doulas, and I decided to meet such a woman who could support me, enlighten my path and point out areas I needed to work on. I searched for guidance and answers, but unfortunately I could not find anyone in Poland who was involved in this profession. However, by I find there many sources in the world that described the role of menopausal doulas. That’s how I came across a group of women working as menopausal doulas, form “The Menopause School” in the UK. Then I decided only one thing – if there is no such person in Poland, I want to become that doula and join this wonderful circle of women who talk about menopause, sharing their knowledge and experience on this subject.
I received tremendous support and mentoring from these wonderful women. Despite the cultural differences, nothing could stop us from learning and spreading knowledge about the menopausal transition. I was accepted, and the most important thing here was simply to pass on knowledge and learning, and to share the truth about menstrual health and menopause, because menopause is just a part of our lives. To fully understand menopause, you need to know about menstrual health in entirety – from birth to death.
I invite you to a menopausal paradise, where getting older becomes more valuable and life becomes fuller.
