Time for a new introduction of myself. Most of you probably know me from Instagram as @ewawrajskigarden, where for the past two years I have been sharing my passion for gardening and close contact with nature. Even though I was living a standard life – graduated from a reputable university, started working for a large company – I always felt that something was missing. My dream of working with and for women didn’t come true until I was 40, when I took on a new challenge that I wanted to explore, learn and share with other women. This is how I started a new chapter in my professional career. My name is Ewa Dubiel, I have received my menopause doula accreditation from The Menopause School in the UK accredited by the international IPHM association.
I would like to share my story with you, because none of this would have been possible without the support of a certain circle of women from The Menopause School, who supported me and motivated me to keep going. This is a place where women from all over the world can gain sound knowledge backed by the latest scientific research on menopausal transition, menopause, menstrual health and everything related to it. I am honored to be a graduate of this school. Here you talk about menopause, share experiences and participate in a circle where menopause is treated as a normal stage of life.
Is the menopausal transition easy? My answer is no. Whether we face severe symptoms or do not experience many discomforts, it is a difficult time, full of reflection and insight into ourselves. It is a period of searching for answers to questions about finding our way through the course of life. Each of us faces our own challenges. Each of us is unique, and each will have her own path in this transformation. There is no better or worse path. For me, the time of menopausal transition is a special power, a gift from mother nature that gives life luster, joy and extraordinary strength to support the younger women in our families, as well as all those we meet on our path of life.
If you think of menopause as a hell or a torture, replace those words with: an opportunity to become a better version of yourself, replace them with menopausal paradise. I invite you into my world where menopause, is a gift.
Your menopausal doula Ewa
